Your Pain Physician Expert
Dr. Ubaidulhaq is a double board-certified, fellowship-trained pain management and neurology specialist. He knew he wanted to be a doctor from an early age. Hospitalized after an accident at 9 years old, he was impacted by the interaction he had with his doctors and nurses.
He treats a broad spectrum of patients from intervention to complete care. His patients may have acute and chronic pain, conditions with the spine and headache.
Dr. Ubaidulhaq enjoys the hands-on approach to pain management, working with patients and helping them see results. He treats his patients as he would treat his family. “In my decision making, I explain options to help patients decide,” he said. “I ask myself, ‘Is this something Iwould offer my family, too?'”
He said his goal is to help patients make informed decisions about their care. “I hope patients feel that we develop a relationship starting on their first visit,” he said. “My role is to present them a menu of options and be there to help them decide.”
Dr. Ubaidulhaq earned his medical degree in Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He completed his neurology residency at Wayne State University/ Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and a fellowship in pain management at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. They like to travel, do outdoor and indoor activities. He likes fishing and skeet shooting.
